In Lahore, Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), has unveiled significant enhancements to the e-Pay Punjab mobile application, aimed at streamlining tax payments and elevating the overall user experience. The upgraded e-Pay Punjab app offers citizens the convenience of settling their taxes and fees from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit government offices. This revamp now enables users to make one-click payments for 33 different taxes across 14 distinct departments, simplifying the entire process.

During a departmental meeting held on Tuesday, Chairman Faisal Yousaf expressed the benefits of this transformation. He emphasized that citizens could save both time and fuel by utilizing the e-Pay Punjab app. With the collaboration of the Punjab Finance Department, the PITB has revamped the app’s user interface, making it more visually appealing and user-friendly. Notably, various government departments’ details are now displayed as attractive icons within the app, enabling users to access tax information for each department with a simple click on the respective icons.

Furthermore, the upgraded e-Pay Punjab app introduces a ‘favorite’ feature on the home screen, allowing citizens to easily add traffic fines and other taxes to their home screen for quick access, making the payment process more convenient. In addition to these improvements, a ‘slider bar’ has been integrated into the home screen, providing crucial, up-to-date information about the app and tax-related matters.

With these enhancements, the e-Pay Punjab app is poised to revolutionize the tax payment experience for citizens in Punjab, offering convenience, efficiency, and user-friendly navigation.
