Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana, conducted an E-Kachehri at the FBR Headquarters on Monday, providing taxpayers with a direct platform to address their concerns and receive prompt assistance. The E-Kachehri serves as an avenue for taxpayers to voice their grievances directly to the Chairman of FBR and offer suggestions regarding tax-related matters.

During the Kachehri session, Chairman FBR personally attended telephone calls from taxpayers, attentively listening to their grievances and recommendations. He promptly issued directives to relevant offices to ensure the swift resolution of taxpayers’ issues.

Acknowledging the valuable suggestions provided by some taxpayers, Chairman FBR assured them that their input would be duly considered. He reaffirmed FBR’s commitment to facilitating taxpayers by ensuring the timely provision of services and fostering a culture of tax compliance nationwide.

The E-Kachehri initiative by Chairman FBR not only enables direct communication between taxpayers and the Chairman for grievance redressal but also serves as a mechanism to monitor the performance of Field Formations. Chairman FBR has instructed all Field Formations to address taxpayers’ concerns promptly through enhanced service delivery.

Through initiatives like the E-Kachehri, FBR aims to strengthen taxpayer engagement, improve service delivery, and promote a culture of compliance, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of the tax system in Pakistan.
