Federal Minister Gohar Ejaz Chairs Crucial Meeting on TDAP and PSM Matters

Federal Minister of Commerce, Industries & Production, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, took charge of a pivotal meeting at the Governor House to address concerns related to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).

The gathering, attended by Federal Secretary Commerce Sualeh Farooqi, TDAP Chief Executive Officer Zubair Motiwala, and officials from both PSM and TDAP, focused on critical matters impacting trade and industrial production.

Officials from the Ministry of Commerce provided insights during the session, briefing Dr. Gohar Ejaz on the circumstances leading to the destruction and closure of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM). The meeting aimed to explore potential solutions and strategies for the revival of this crucial industrial entity.

Zubair Motiwala, leading the TDAP delegation, presented details on the upcoming “4th Pak-Africa Trade Development Conference (PATDC) and Single Country Exhibition (SCE)” scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt, next month. The event is set to attract participation from major economies in the MENA region, including Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Mauritania.
