Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Engages in Productive Meeting with Chairman of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran

Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, convened a fruitful meeting today with Mr. Naeem Mir, Chairman of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran, accompanied by the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The meeting provided a platform to discuss critical issues pertaining to the business community and economic strategies.

Acknowledging the significant contributions of the business community to Pakistan’s economic progress, Finance Minister Aurangzeb expressed the government’s dedication to addressing their needs and advancing their interests nationwide. He particularly highlighted the importance of encouraging businesses to register on the newly launched Tajir Dost App, aimed at facilitating their operations effectively.

Mr. Naeem Mir conveyed the concerns and recommendations of the business community to the Finance Minister, emphasizing the obstacles encountered by traders and entrepreneurs in the country. He commended the government’s efforts in fostering a conducive business environment, refining taxation policies, and enhancing investment prospects for economic development. He also pledged the community’s full support for the Tajir Dost App initiative.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to collaborate closely with the business sector, Finance Minister Aurangzeb stressed the significance of joint efforts in addressing grievances and promoting economic growth. He emphasized the need for policy formulation in partnership with the private sector to stimulate entrepreneurship and business expansion.

The meeting saw constructive discussions on various fronts, including taxation reforms, trade facilitation, and initiatives to bolster small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Minister Aurangzeb reiterated the government’s dedication to enacting policies that foster inclusive growth and empower the business community.

The session concluded with both parties agreeing to sustain the dialogue and cooperation for the betterment of Pakistan’s economy, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration between the government and the business community.
