Finance Minister Meets APM Terminals to Boost Maritime Operations: Economic Collaboration Ahead

Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb recently convened with Mr. Keith Svendsen, CEO of APM Terminals, accompanied by Ambassador H.E. Jakob Linulf and representatives from APM Terminals, to discuss maritime operations in Pakistan. The meeting, held at the Finance Division, aimed to explore avenues for collaboration and investment in the maritime sector.

Attendees included Secretary Maritime Affairs, representatives from APM, and senior officers from FBR and Finance Division. The Finance Minister expressed gratitude to the Danish Government for their support, highlighting past grants and pledging to capitalize on this momentum to strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Denmark.

During the discussion, the Finance Minister outlined the government’s reform agenda and its potential to enhance business confidence and attract investments. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and invited APM Terminals to explore future projects and investments in Pakistan.

Mr. Keith Svendsen conveyed APM Terminals’ enthusiasm for engaging with the Government of Pakistan, emphasizing the company’s confidence in the Pakistani market.
