Fluctuating Gold Rates in Pakistan Respond to International Market Trends

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Wednesday, aligning with the international downward trend. The value of the precious metal stood at Rs211,800 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs1,200.

As per the rates provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the 10-gram gold was priced at Rs181,584 after a decrease of Rs1,029. Contrastingly, on Tuesday, gold prices had surged by Rs900 to reach Rs213,000 per tola.

Internationally, with a $20 premium, the gold rate on Wednesday settled at $1,996, marking a $19 drop in the global market, according to APGJSA.

Meanwhile, silver rates remained steady at Rs2,550 per tola.
