Huda Beauty Pledges $1 Million for Gaza Relief Efforts Amid Ongoing Crisis

Renowned beauty mogul Huda Kattan, the force behind the globally acclaimed Huda Beauty makeup line, has declared a substantial donation of $1 million towards relief efforts in Gaza. Expressing deep concern in an Instagram post, Kattan emphasized the urgency of addressing the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.

In her Instagram post, she stated, “It’s been A MONTH of immense suffering in Gaza, and unfortunately things are getting worse. It is important that we always stand on the side of the oppressed and use our platforms to shed light on any injustice.”

The donation from Huda Beauty encompasses all its brands, including Huda Beauty, Kayali, and WISHFUL, contributing to humanitarian organizations actively engaged in supporting Gaza. Kattan expressed gratitude to her customers, acknowledging that their support has empowered her to make this substantial contribution. She remarked, “So thank you for your support. Together, we can bring change.”

Huda Kattan, an Iraqi-American based in Dubai, has been a vocal advocate for the Palestinian cause, earning widespread acclaim for her unwavering support. Notably, when confronted by an Israeli fan critical of her pro-Palestinian stance, Kattan responded assertively, stating, “I don’t want blood money.”

Beyond the monetary contribution, Kattan urged continued awareness and activism. She called on individuals to maintain their voices on social platforms, emphasizing the significance of collective efforts in making a difference.

As the siege of Gaza surpasses its 32nd day, and the death toll crosses 10,000, global protests are rallying for a ceasefire and the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Huda Kattan’s commitment adds to the growing support from influential figures.

In a similar vein, Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty has also joined the cause, announcing donations to both the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and Israeli Magen David Adom, reinforcing the solidarity of the beauty industry in addressing the urgent needs of the affected region.
