Swift action by security forces led to the elimination of three terrorists, while three others were contained and isolated during the thwarted assault in the early hours of November 4.

The ISPR highlighted that the attack was swiftly neutralized due to the effective response of security troops, ensuring the safety of personnel and safeguarding assets at the base. However, it was reported that three grounded aircraft and a fuel bowser sustained damage during the attack, as mentioned by the ISPR. Unverified videos on social media depicted a fire at the base.
