LESCO Raises New Electricity Connection Costs to Rs63,450

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced a significant increase in fees for new electricity connections, effective from July 1, as per a recent notification issued by the LESCO administration.

According to the notification, the demand notice fee for a three-phase meter has been revised upward to Rs63,450 from Rs33,500. This adjustment aims to cover administrative costs and ensure sustainable service provision across Lahore and its surrounding regions.

Application Initiation: To begin the process, visit LESCO’s official application page to start your application for a new electricity connection.

Form Submission: During the form submission, you must provide essential information including your connection type (Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Agriculture, Tubewell, Temporary, General Services, Residential Colonies, Street Light).

Property Details: Submit detailed property information where you intend to install the new electricity connection.

Document Upload: Fill out all required fields and upload necessary documents as specified in the application form.

Print Application: After submitting the form online, it is essential to print out your application for record-keeping.

Document Attachment: Ensure all mentioned documents are correctly attached to your application.

Submission Process: Submit the complete file (application form and required documents) to the designated LESCO office.

Demand Notice Issuance: LESCO will issue a demand notice after verifying the submitted documents and information.

Payment Process: Pay the LESCO demand notice fee to the designated bank as specified.

Submission of Payment Proof: After paying the demand notice fee, submit a copy to the relevant LESCO office for further processing.

Connection Installation: In the final stage, the concerned office will verify the payment of the demand notice. Upon verification, they will proceed with the installation of your electricity connection.
