Pakistan Army’s COAS Emphasizes Readiness for Defending National Integrity

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir affirmed on Saturday that the Pakistan Army stands fully prepared to safeguard the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan under any circumstances. His remarks came during an interaction with the troops while visiting Khairpur Tamewali (KPT) to observe the Field Exercise of Bahawalpur Corps, as reported by Radio Pakistan.

Throughout his visit, the COAS received a briefing on the Field Exercise, which aimed to enhance professional skills across various levels and acquaint the military with battlefield procedures necessary to tackle future challenges in the operational environment.

General Munir also witnessed integrated fire and battle maneuvers involving various elements such as Armour, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defense, and Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs). This was supplemented by support from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Combat Aviation.

In addition to emphasizing the importance of professional skills, the COAS highlighted the dedication of the Pakistan Armed Forces to defending the frontiers of the motherland against a full spectrum of threats. He stated, “We are cognizant of the challenges, and with the support of the nation, we are prepared to thwart any nefarious designs of the enemies.” The visit and exercises underscored the commitment of the military to national defense and security preparedness.
