The Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, 1963, is a crucial international treaty that outlines the framework for consular relations between independent countries. Under this convention, host nations are required to protect the consular premises and ensure the safety and dignity of consular staff. Pakistan’s call to action underscores the importance of adhering to these international norms to maintain diplomatic relations and ensure mutual respect and safety.
