blast near Peshawar’s Babu Garhi Chowk left at least four people injured, including three children. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Machini Gate police station, prompting immediate responses from the police and rescue teams. The wounded individuals have been swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Warsak Road Superintendent of Police, Arshad Khan, informed the media that the blast, fueled by four kilograms of explosives, took place in the area.

This unsettling event follows an escalation in terrorist activities in Pakistan, particularly after the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan terminated its ceasefire with the government in November of the previous year. In a grim incident last month in Dera Ismail Khan, a bomb blast claimed the lives of five people, leaving another 21 individuals wounded. The situation underscores the ongoing security challenges in the region.
