PTI Announces Coalition Plans with MWM and Jamaat-i-Islami

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced its plans to form coalition governments with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) in both the Centre and Punjab, This decision was confirmed by Raoof Hasan, the party’s Central Information Secretary, following a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala jail.

In addition to the coalition with MWM, Hasan disclosed that PTI will ally with Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for reserved seats. He emphasized Imran Khan’s stance, stating that those who won the elections should be empowered to establish a government. Hasan also urged those in positions of power to reflect on their actions.

Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the former Prime Minister approved a coalition with Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP). It’s noteworthy that PTI-backed candidates contested the elections independently after the Supreme Court stripped the party of its election symbol.
