The Federal Cabinet has approved the budget documents for the new fiscal year, which include a salary increase of up to 25% and a pension increase of 15%.

According to Express News, the Federal Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, presented and approved the budget proposals.

The Cabinet meeting also approved packages for farmers, youth, and industries. The Federal Finance Minister will announce all schemes for the upcoming fiscal year in his budget speech.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister ordered all officers to leave, after which only the ministers remained. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

The Cabinet approved a 25% salary increase for employees in grades 1 to 16 and up to a 20% increase for grades 17 to 22. Similarly, pensions will see a 15% increase.
