Gold rates in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Thursday, mirroring the international market trend. The current value of the yellow metal stands at Rs218,000 per tola, marking a drop of Rs500 throughout the day.
The 10-gram gold price settled at Rs186,900, reflecting a decrease of Rs428, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just a day prior, on Wednesday, gold prices had surged by Rs900, reaching Rs218,500 per tola.
As of Thursday, the global gold rate, with a $20 premium, is set at $2,055 per ounce, experiencing a $5 reduction in the international market, according to APGJSA.
