Highlighting Pakistan’s efforts, President Zardari mentioned the extensive plantation of mangrove forests across hundreds of thousands of hectares, contributing to environmental protection and earning carbon credits for Pakistan.

President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan and expressed eagerness to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. He advocated for increased interactions, bilateral exchanges, and people-to-people contacts to strengthen the bond between the two nations.

In response, Mr. Babayev emphasized the importance of bolstering bilateral cooperation, particularly in the domains of tourism and culture. He extended a formal invitation to President Zardari to participate in COP29 in Baku in November 2024.
