In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported the successful elimination of at least seven terrorists in the Sambaza sector of Balochistan’s Zhob district, near the Pakistan-Afghan border.

The ISPR stated, “A firefight occurred during an intelligence-based operation in Sambaza Sector, Zhob District, near the Pakistan-Afghan border.” Pakistani troops effectively surrounded and engaged the fleeing terrorists, resulting in the death of the seven individuals who were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.

The ISPR also confirmed the recovery of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the deceased terrorists. A sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, emphasizing the Security Forces of Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating the menace of terrorism.

In a related incident last week, security forces conducted an operation in the general area of Buleda, Kech District, resulting in the death of three terrorists. The ISPR reported that terrorists had detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on a security forces’ vehicle, leading to an intense exchange of fire. The quick response from the security forces resulted in the successful engagement of the terrorists, sending three of them to their demise.

The ISPR concluded with a statement expressing the unwavering determination of the Security Forces of Pakistan to thwart attempts at sabotaging the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan. The sacrifices of brave soldiers were acknowledged as strengthening the nation’s resolve against terrorism in the region.
